About Forensic Medicine Department
The
department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology is situated at 4th Floor of
main college building. It has a very rich museum consisting
of all types of weapon & specimen related with this subject. It has also a
photo gallery which help the students to acquire knowledge of theoretical and
practical.
This department consists of very experienced ten faculty members. Among
them five have got post graduate degree.
The department provides undergraduate teaching with respect to medical
aspects of law and legal aspects of practice of medicine in addition autopsy
performing, medico-legal examination of victims to aid in the administration of
justice.
The department also carries out scientific research in the field of
Forensic Medicine and Toxicology and closely related areas in addition to
providing basic training to medical students.
