Mission

The mission of our medical college is to educate skilled care givers and discoverers, whose work leads to new knowledge, which in turn enables better patient care and healthier communities, thereby inspiring and training the next generation. Aligning with the seven fundamental principles of the Red Crescent Society, we aim to instill humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality among our students.

The three core pillars of our mission are Education, Research and Clinical care/service.

1. Education: To empower a new generation of physicians by providing a rigorous curriculum that integrates knowledge, skill and attitude to achieve the highest standards in medical education and professional development.

2. Research: Our mission is to educate, nurture and inspire scientists to advance medical knowledge and scientific discovery. To foster collaborative interdisciplinary (Biomedical, clinical, public health and health service) research to achieve the highest standard in medical education and professional development.

3. Clinical care and community service: To train compassionate patient-centered physicians dedicated to serving diverse populations of our state, with a special commitment to primary care and addressing rural health disparities, improve health and wellbeing.
